A haunting four-channel video and sound installation that reanimates archival films made inside Pittsburgh’s Westinghouse factories. Projected at the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair, they offered early cinematic visions of technology and orchestrated labor at an uncertain time. Sounding a disorienting echo of these turn-of-the-century dreams, the installation edits and recontextualizes the films creating an experience that evokes the past in the present and questions our own modern “palaces.”
