Jenny Boles is a moving image artist and filmmaker currently based in Bozeman, Montana. She is interested in the power, politics, and materiality of institutional audiovisual archives and histories and ecologies of labor, movement, landscape, and infrastructure. She has a Ph.D. in History from Indiana University and an MFA in Documentary Media from Northwestern University. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Film and Photography at Montana State University where she teaches film history, studies, and production.
